【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversausteniticductileiron,TypeD-2M,Classes1and2,forcompressors,expanders,pumps,valves,andotherpressure-containingpartsintendedprimarilyforlow-temperatureservice.1.2Thesegradesofausteniticductileironarecharacterizedbyhavingtheirgraphitesubstantiallyinaspheroidalformandfreeofflakegraphite.Theyareessentiallyfreeofcarbidesandcontainsufficientalloycontenttoproduceastableausteniticmatrixdownto-423176F;[-252176;C](liquidhydrogen).1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
