【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofcontrolledrateofloadingmechanicalinstrumentationforgatheringandreportingthemodulusofelasticityofthermoplasticandthermosettingresinsandcompositesystemsintheformofrectangularbarsmoldeddirectlyorcutfromsheets,plates,ormoldedshapes.Thedatagenerated,usingthree-pointbendingtechniques,maybeusedtoidentifythethermomechanicalpropertiesofaplasticsmaterialorcompositionusingacontrolledrateofloadingmechanicalinstrument.ResultsobtainedfromthistestmethodmayormaynotbecomparabletoresultsobtainedusingD790.Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovideameansfordeterminingthemodulusofelasticitywithinthelinearregionofthestress-straincurve(seeFig1).Thistestisconductedatstandardtemperatureandpressure.Apparentdiscrepanciesmayariseinresultsobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Theseapparentdifferencesfromresultsobservedinanotherstudycanusuallybereconciled,withoutchangingtheobserveddata,byreportinginfull(asdescribedinthistestmethod)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawereobtained.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
