【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsformeasuringrollingresistance,undercontrolledlab-oratoryconditions,fornewpneumatictyresde-signedprimarilyforuseontrucksandbuses.Therelationshipbetweenvaluesobtainedandthefueleconomyofthevehicleisundetermined,andsuchvaluesarenotintendedtobeusedtoindicatelevelsofperformanceorquality.ThisInternationalStandardappliestoalltruckandbustyres.Itenablescomparisonstobemadebetweentherollingresistanceofnewtyreswhentheyarefree-rollingstraightahead,inapositionperpendiculartothedrumoutersurface,andinsteady-statecon-ditions.Inmeasuringtyrerollingresistance,itisnecessarytomeasuresmallforcesinthepresenceofmuchlargerforces.Itis,therefore,essentialthatequip-mentandinstrumentationofappropriateaccuracybeused.
