【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemethodformeasuringthedegreeofsensitization(DOS)instainlesssteelandnickel-basedalloysusingtheDoubleLoopElectrochemicalPotentiokineticReactivation(DL-EPR)test(basedonCihal'smethod).Themethodmaybeusedforthequantitativeassessmentofdeleteriousthermaleffectsresultingintheformationofalloy-element-depletedzonesatgrainboundariesorinthematrix.However,attentionshouldbepaidwhentestingheat-affectedweldzones,duetopossiblenon-uniformdistributionofsensitizedzonesalongthefusionlines.Theresultsofthetestcanbeusedasanindextoidentifythepotentialsusceptibilityofstainlesssteelandnickel-basedalloystointergranularcorrosion,pittingcorrosion,andintergranular-stresscorrosioncracking,butpredictionofthesecorrosionmodesdependsoncomplementaryspecifictesting.ThisInternationalStandarddescribesthegeneralmethodologyand,inAnnexC,givesexamplesofsuitabletestexposureconditionsforspecificalloys.
